WHY WE DO IT

OUR HERITAGE

Aubrey Peck was founded by Georgia Peck, granddaughter of Henry "Harry" Aubrey Peck. Sadly, Georgia only met Harry when she was a newborn baby but got to know him through plentiful stories passed down by her father and old Pathe-16 films from the family’s 1920’s camera. Harry was a racing driver, Bristol Type 156 Beaufighter pilot, award-winning sportsman, car collector, adventurer, and all-round automotive enthusiast; taking to the famous banked track of Brooklands many a time in his R-Type MG, 4½-litre Bentley and 105 Talbot – once, famously, with Seagrave - and gracing far flung corners of the world in style at the helm of countless modes of transport including the Orient Express, cruise ship, motor car, and even by camel in Egypt (while dressed in a 2-piece suit, tie and fez), he was quite the chap - and he loved to party.

Needless to say, Harry’s love of adventure, travel and all things automotive – so much so he had his own petrol pump at home – runs in the blood of Aubrey Peck, and we are delighted to ensure his passion and name lives on. This is not simply a business for us, but a way of life.
