Hill Climbs Of Old

We conceptualised and brought to life Duke’s Hill Climb at @shelsleywalsh; a new all-inclusive hill climb competition in the automotive calendar, that celebrates all ages, all walks of life, and a hugely eclectic variety of much-loved motors

“It felt like racing how I remember it back in the ‘60s” was the kind of feedback that made us at Aubrey know we’d managed to make hill-climbing what it once was again.

The partnership between Aubrey Peck and Duke of London saw guests and entrants decamp at the world's oldest motorsport venue Shelley Walsh, In Worcestershire on Saturday 27th August.

At breakfast a convoy of classic, super and race cars and motorcycles drove to Shelsey Walsh, via Daylesford Farm, to start the day off properly fuelled before the evening party at the Dutch Barn. A campire end to a night of dancing, drinking and live music was perfect to get everyone in that period-attire mood.

The hill-climb itself took place on the Sunday from 9am, with guests competing on a timed hill climb in the car or bike of their choice, witnessed by the most ardent spectators!

Other competitions included a judged static car and motorcycle display, off-roading and auto jumble stalls. It was a brilliant weekend of laughter and excitement for all ages - truly electric and full of character!
